The Last Resort

Before the foundation of the world, I was chosen. Chosen to be a Joint Heir with Christ. I was 17 Y.O. when the Lord Jesus found me. You see, I was the one who was lost. Not Him. I was born in Williamsport, Pa. November 23, 1952. At 2 pounds and 10 ounces. A 32 weeker. I have been married 25 years. Now I work in a Neonatal Intensive Care Unit. Talk about a full-circle! I've 5 sisters who love to play Monopoly.

You post comments on our blogs in response to our posts. Like we post comments on your blog in response to your posts. But it looks like you've already figured it out. :) It's easier if you put links to us on your blog. Then you don't have to do as much work to find us. P.S. you are invited to our latest BBQ next Saturday if you want to drive all the way up here. ;)

Except that Jailgy was posting on your blog when the were no posts. ...and you can comment and post on your own blog. And I know how to post on someone else's blog. Or you can comment on that blog too. Or I can fake posting by putting my post on my comment page like you did. And I can answer posted questions that are on my blog or my comment page. You can comment on a comment from another blog. You can even comment on someone else's post on an entirely different blog!

Did you figure that last one out? I sure didn't. I must need to go back to school and take a logic class.

We seem to have lost contact with Babbyboeby.

Maybe holding another party at his blog (uninvited, of course) would entice him to show his face again?

For this party, instead of only soft food, everyone must bring food that is yellow. That used to be babbyboebe's favorite color. Maybe it still is. Maybe yellow food will make him show his yellow belly. *dishes out dallops of lemon pudding to all*

    Ok, here's our contribution.
    Or fresh, if you prefer.

Yeah! Another food party! I think I shall bring.... FRITOS!!!
Which happens to be another one of Babbyboebey's favorites.

I catapult bananas at you all.

I peel one of the bananas and toss the peel in your path so you slip as you try to make a quick exit from your distant catapult. Then I carry you back to the party on my shoulders. We then all have banana splits with pineapple sauce.

Why must you insist on fruit? Do you remember getting a corn-on-the-cob smile? He always liked to show us how much food was caught in his braces. Don't forget butter and, oh my, garlic salt.

Enters and sees the partygoers falling asleep. Grabs a bottle and spins around squirting mustard everywhere like a twirling sprinkler. Runs out before anyone wakes up.

Wakes up slightly disoriented, and wonders why he's covered in slowly-drying mustard and slimy pieces of bananna.

After cleaning himself up, he decides this party needs a bit more culture, and offers champagne and hors d'oeuvres to all.

We need some sound. All these partygoers are sleepy because this party is getting messy and dull. Inserts music in portable music player She Wore a Yellow Ribbon

And when the music stops, she inserts one of two copies of another of Babbyboebey's favorites: O! Dem Golden Slippers and a livelier version!

Do you still use only yellow toothbrushes? 's no fun if hyou're not going to play the game.

Whoa! What a party I've been missing out on! Can I bring yellow streamers slopped in honey to drape over the furniture?
Let's see if we can get these comments up to 37 entries. Then we will have beat the record for most comments on a dead beat blogger's blogg. What? You're really not that busy, are you? Hey! Wake up Babbyboebee! When you come back we'll sing "Tie a Yellow Ribbon 'Round the Old Oak Tree" and celebrate.

Oh well, if you were a Texan we could sing "The Yellow Rose of Texas" but since you're not I guess we shouldn't sing. But then there's "Around her neck she wore a yellow ribbon" Anyway, I caN't remember all the words. Ah well.

Re-enters the room and see things much more lively. Whistles for ol' Yeller to come and help clean up the mess. He likes the Fritos, ice cream, pudding, and corn on the cob. Tastes the mustard, doesn't like it. His wagging tail sticks to the honey covered streamers and ribbons and knocks over the champagne flutes in his frantic effort to eat the rest of the hor d'oeuvres. The rest of us are reduced to scrubbing with the yellow toothbrushes and peach canning water. Happily, Kedge kept the butter up real high, out of reach. Ol' Yeller couldn't figure out how to open the garlic salt and canned peaches but he did sit on a banana. Strangely, the pineapple sauce is untouched. Nobody really liked the pineapple sauce anyway.

You guy's crack me up. I am sitting in the Hotel lobby using the courtesy computer to check all the blogs and comments. Deal/No Deal is on the TV behind me so most of the people in the lobby are occupied with the TV and aren't aware that I am laughing to myself as I read these comments. This certainly makes being stuck in Omaha NE not as boring as it could be.
I'll be home next weekend Lord willing.
What a story about torching your Jeep! Keep up the blogging!
